About Us

Brighton, Hove & West Sussex Deaf Society is a local group affiliated with the NDCS and is run by parents of Deaf/Hearing impaired children in their spare time.

Our aim is to provide Fun days out for our members at a very low cost or free. The type of events we offer are trips to Harry Potter Studios, Tulleys Farm, Diggerland, Funplex. Events vary from year to year. Every year we have an Annual Christmas Party and a Summer Fun Day.

We also offer support and information to parents of Deaf/Hearing Impaired children. We support all forms of communication and many of our families have children with Cochlear Implants.

It’s a good opportunity for families to get together and share experiences. We feel it is important that the children can mix with other Deaf/Hearing Impaired children and families in relaxed and informal surroundings.

We rely on donations and hold fund raising events during the year to enable us to fund our activities.

We always welcome new members and committee members to join our team.

We are affiliated to NDCS and are a registered charity. Registered Charity No. 1061540
